Defending Ironman 70.3 World Champion Mirinda Carfrae dominated the women's event, taking a clear lead early on the bike. The worldwide Ironman 70.3 series is coming to Geelong on February 10, 2008. More than 1000 triathletes are expected to converge on the scenic bayside city to contest the 1.9km swim, 90km cycle and 21.1km run.
