A pint-sized powerhouse of few words but obvious persistence, Paul was overwhelmed as she finally crossed the finish line first for the women on Sunday. The host town of Busselton is situated in a long bay around three hours south of the state capital of Perth. Conditions are usually quite sheltered, making for fast times. For the third time in ten years, Busselton just won an award as the top tourist town in Western Australia, which ensures that Ironman is very welcome.
